Best Ever Gluten Free Brownies!
Best Ever Gluten Free Brownies!
Sometimes, I just NEED chocolate. This definitely appeased my cravings! Brownies are always a popular choice, and I didn’t want to just make the same ol’ brownies. So I set out to find the best gluten free brownie recipe I could… and I’m very excited to share it with you! According to my son, it’s the “BEST brownie” he’s ever had.
So here is your gourmet brownie created with simple ingredients! You can always add in different flavor extracts, 1/4 cup coffee, nuts, or dried fruits for a twist.
Ingredients
- 8 Tbsp grass-fed butter (Kerrygold is my fav) *You can also use coconut or palm oil
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (I used dairy, soy, gluten free chips)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs, organic free-range preferred… or egg substitute
- 2/3 cup gluten free all Flour (I used Jules Gluten Free flour)
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 tsp (gluten free) baking powder
- 4 heaping Tbsp 100% pure cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. You’ll need an 8×8 pan.
- Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl, set aside.
- In a small sauce pan, melt the butter or oil and then add the chocolate chips on low until mixed thoroughly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk vanilla and sugar, add in one egg at a time.
- Stir in the melted chocolate butter/oil mixture into the above sugar mixture, and finally, combine the dry ingredients.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out fairly clean.
